This privacy policy describes how Pisces ATL ("we", "our") collects and uses information when you participate in our open-deck DJ event SMS notification program.
What we collect
- Your name (as written on the paper signup ticket).
- Your mobile phone number (as written on the paper signup ticket).
- The date you signed up.
How we use it
We use your name and mobile number for one purpose only: to send you a single text message notifying you when it is your turn to perform at the open-deck event you signed up for. The event operator may send a follow-up message in the same evening if necessary (for example, to clarify timing).
We will never sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing.
Who we share it with
The only third party who handles your phone number is our SMS provider, Twilio, which transmits the text message on our behalf. Twilio's privacy policy is available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.
Opt-out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You can also ask the event host in person to be removed.
Data retention
Paper signup tickets and the corresponding records in our system are retained for up to 12 months for compliance purposes, then deleted.
